Hi everyone!! Well what a great week its been for the club!! I am sorry
for
saying that Savage Garden had more fans many people were against that
statement and shared it with the whole club!! But I am sorry and I
am sure
Hanson has just as much fans as Savage Garden if not more! I really
thank you
guys for still staying in this club, this only proves you all are the
true
Savage Garden Fans!! And the people that quit couldn't take a little
mail to
be in a great way to be a part of Savage Garden!!
**The Battle of the Bands has ended and Savage Garden won, but that
doesn't
prove anything or does it????? Please tell me your opinion of the battle.
Did
it or did it not prove anything? Please only send ME your opinion!!!!

**AMSports who does so much for this club is going to hold a special
contest
night Tuesday, August the 5th!! The contests she will do will be ALL
about
Savage Garden!!! SO please attend it will be alot of fun!!
**The <A HREF="aol://2719:61-2-Savage%20Garden%20Chat">Town
Square - Savage
Garden Chat</A> room has not been exactly booming! But to get thing
a little
bit more going in there we will have contest night every Saturday
night!!
This will be contests about SG and alternative music. But we need a
host for
this if you want to do it this Saturday or for the next Saturday or
every
Saturday just tell me you want to and you HAVE to be there at your
selected
starting time! Thanx for your support!
If you still want to host a special or regular chat in the SG room
please let
me know and I will let everyone know in the update that comes out Wednesday.
**The contest for last week who was the #1 SG fan. Only 2 people sent
anything
in and one person was disqualified for quiting the club. Obviously
shes not
the #1 fan anyways for quiting the club because of a little mail! But
the #1
Savage Garden Fan is ChristaM12. Heres why shes #1:
I think that I am the Biggest Savage Garden Fan Beacause I would
walk around
the world just to meet them or listen to a single song. I would swim
all the
oceans to see their faces. I would climb Mt. Mcinly just to hear Darren's
oh
so sweet voice!
Everyday when I wake up I listen to Savage Garden. Every time
my mom drives
me to school I listen to It on the way... During class, I listen to
It during
lunch, when I go home, when I do homework,or when I am just sitting
around
doing nothing.
And whenever I am feeling down I Play my video tape of
them on the Rosie O'
Donnel show and On MTV.
That is why I think I am the Biggest Savage Garden Fan...

**This week we have 2 contests one right here and the other later in
the
letter.
The Savage Garden Greatness Contest!! This is really cool. TopDawgAx
sent in
this idea but I put a little twist on it. The contest is to write articles
on
why you like Savage Garden. She suggested to put the articles in the
newsletter but I think we should have a special edition newsletter
with all
the articles in it. If we get enough we can do this. The fun part you
can send
in the articles and you can also name the special edition newsletter!
Send in
your articles and the name suggestion into me!!
If you have any contest/survey idea send them in!!
**This week we have something new for the newsletter that we think you
all
will like. It's called the Featured Song and basically we will pick
a song
from the SG CD and we will tell a little about it. Hope you enjoy it!
This week's Featured Song is: 'I Want You'. This is the first song realesed
by
Savage Garden and everyone's favorite. The song was first discovered
by Rosie
O'Donnell who strongly influenced the success of this song! The song
has a
very cool video and a very cool remix! It was written by Darren and
Daniel
themselves. Heres a little piece of the song:

**Here's the other contest. This should be fun. The contest is to try
to
create a name for the club rather than Savage Garden Online Fan Club.
