**As everyone knows, "Truly" is #1 on VH1's Top Ten Countdown! Also, in the
update I sent out last week, the countdown that it also topped was the Rick
Dees Weekly Top 40. Wonderful me forgot to put the name of it in the update,
hehe.

**"Truly" is still doing great on the American charts! It currently jumped
back to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 but the album dropped back to #8. They're
still doing fantastic!!

**Great news for Darren and Daniel themselves!! The mayor of Brisbane just
presented the Savage Ones with the keys to the city!! A major honor!!!
Congratulations to Darren and Daniel for this wonderful honor! And thanks to
Sarah for telling me this info! She's a new member from Brisbane herself!

**More news from Sarah: Daz and Dan have announced that their next album may
be out this September. Can't wait for it!!

**Sigh. Bad news for Dan-lovers (myself included). The rumors are true - Dan
does have a girlfriend. It was heard (by Sarah again!) on an Australian radio
station. I'll make it through this, but I'll have to be in therapy for years!
For those who I talk to regularly: <sob!>

                                       Savage Trivia

Last week's trivia question was: "In an interview with a radio station in
America, the deejays were asking Darren and Daniel about their feelings of the
death of Michael Hutchence, the lead singer of INXS who committed suicide. The
Savaged Ones told the deejays that they had a chance to play with INXS before
Michael's death. The deejays then told them some info about the concert they
played together that surprised and shocked Daz and Dan. What was it?" The
answer is it was the very INXS performance before the death of Michael
Hutchence. Congrats to those who got it right:

This week's question is: Where does the phrase "Truly Madly Deeply" come from?
(Hint: check the article in Teen People). Thanks so much to Meow543 for the
wonderful idea for this week's trivia!

**The winners of the Lover of the Year awards are in, but Truly didn't win
Most Romantic Song of 1997. "My Heart Will Go On" did. Oh well, I'm sure to
many people "Truly" really is the most romantic!!

**I know have 15 whole address books filled with members! The club is growing
bigger each day!!

Well, that's it for this week's issue of the Savage Gardener! Have a Happy
Valentine's Day and a Savage week ahead of you!

Peace, love, and Savage Garden!
