Hi everyone! As always, this issue is jam-packed full of stuff on our
favorite
guys and lots of news! Plus, there's a hilarious new pic of Darren
taken just
last month while the Savaged Ones were on their mini-tour here in America.

**"Truly" has had extraordinary success since it's release in America
back in
October. It's currently #3 on VH1's Top Ten Countdown, #6 on
the Weekly Top
40 and has entered its 3rd week at #1 on the Billboard charts! Daz
and Dan
should be very proud of themselves!!
**Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has declared herself to be a big fan
of Savage
Garden and "Truly Madly Deeply". On an episode of MTV Live, she chose
"Truly"
as her pick for a video to show, and was complimenting them after "Truly"
was
shown. The host (didn't catch his name) mentioned the Boys' huge win
at the
ARIAs. Looks like the Savage is spreading to the stars!
**It looks as though Savage Garden's popularity in the U.S. is on a
rise. The
CD is rarely in stores here in southern Cali anymore. My mom overheard
a
person ask someone who works at a store here if they had the Savage
Garden CD.
The answer? "We're always selling out". I think we have a multi-platinum
certification coming up soon! Way to go, Daz and Dan!
**Savage Garden's debut album has gone 10 times platinum in Australia!!
That's
unbelieveable!! I guess their album in Australia is like the Titanic
of music,
huh?
**"Truly" will be featured in a movie due to be released in America
this
spring. The movie is called "Music from Another Room". More details
as they
come!
**Savage Garden were on Regis and Kathie Lee here in America. The Savaged
Ones
performed "Truly Madly Deeply" and chatted with Regis and Kathie Lee
for a few
minutes. They were excellent! Among the topics was how they met and
where they
got the name Savage Garden from. The boys looked great (as always!)
and stole
a few laughs from the audience. They were as sweet and charming as
ever!
**By now you all know about MTV's "12 Angry Viewers". Slothbat (a new
member,
welcome!) has already started a petition and needs screen names to
add to it.
She's also called various radio stations which mentioned this on the
air!! So
get cracking and help save "I Want You"!! And remember to tell people
this..."Savage fans can be Savage people".

I just wanted to ask you to set the record strait on the MTV thingy..Everyone
is saying that IWU ALREADY got kicked off...It didn't..they're taking
the 4
videos from this week that they didn't like, and voting on the WEEK'S
WORST
one on Thursday or Friday..Judging from the fact that "OH AHH Just
a little
bit" got a 12 (that's a 1 from everyone there) I WANT YOU may have
a good
fighting chance, even thought they got a low score..
I think that the best way to work againest it is to vote to keep IWU
online on
Thurs. or Fri. I'm not sure which day though..

Ok you probably noticed, but Daz skipped the verse in Truly on the Regis
and
Kathy Lee show. That was depressing for me, i don't know about
everyone else.
Also- I don't want to sound nasty but I hate those stupid backup singers.
They don't sing well at all, they dress like, well, you can imagine
what I'm
gonna say. Personally I think Daz can carry the music by himself,
and doesn't
need some stupid backup there just to screw up the song. Sorry
it just
steamed me.

mails until they put it back on!! Because for the 12 people who took

the air...there are 12 MILLION who want it on!!!! Show MTV this is
a cruel,
pathetic way of choosing which videos to ban! They must know! And tell

you'll be a loyal VH1 viewer forever!!
