Hola! (In case you didn't know, that's hello in Spanish hehe)
How is everyone
doing?? Sorry this is a day late, but for some reason I just
totally forgot
about it yesterday hehe. SOOORRRYYYY!!! Well, let's get
on with the letter!!
**Last week's survey was if you were Darren or Daniel's wife or girlfriend,
would you like it? I got a reasonable amount of responses, and
some were
pretty interesting...
============================================================
If I were Darrens wife I would not like because they would be on the
road to
much and because thye might pay more attention to their music instead
to me!!
But I think being a girlfriend to them would be different because
I think
they would want to spend time w/ a girlfriend.

Would I like it? Lets put aside the fact I've never met
the two, and the
fact that I could be an obsessive fan. (oh nooo there goes my
case....) If
they are as nice/wacky/and well practically perfect as they seem, then
yeah i
wouldn't mind it. Yes they would be gone a lot. And I would
miss him (daniel
*siiiiiiigh* hehehe), but I still think it would be worth it.
I mean think
about it. Now of course I'm only going on how the appear to be,
not who they
probably are. which should kill it right there, but I'll still
say yeah I
would go for it. thats just me and my isanity. ;)

YES!!!!!
That would be sooo cool!!!
(to be Darrens wife)

I can't give this question a definite yes; I'd have to get to know
Daniel or
Darren personally first. If one of them was definitely my type,
however, I
would say yes. Although I wouldn't exactly enjoy all that travelling,
it
would be worth it if I really liked them, and I'd get to hear them
all the
time! Not only that, I'm kind of a multi-instrumentalist myself,
so maybe,
just maybe, they'd have room for another band member. ;-)

i would not like to be darren's wife because u would hardly see them.
they
would always be on the road and that would suck and u would never see
his
beautiful face!!!! i thought of this idea thank u because i wouldn't
like to
be his wife i mean colby is lucky but in some ways she isn't

Well, that's what everyone thought about that :-) And lets see... in
my
opinion, I think I would rather be one of their girlfriends, not married
to
them. Cuz then I wouldnt be quite so committed :-)
**The survey for this week, is if you could be in the Savage Garden
band (not
singing, but the actual band...) would you like it? And if so, which
instrument(s) would you play?
**On the charts this week, Universe is at number 26. Internationally,
To The
Moon & Back is selling well and gaining airplay in many countries.
It has
acheived top 10 status in many countries. Truly Madly Deeply
is soon due for
release in the US!!!! When that happens, I will definately tell
everyone!
**The featured webpage this week is...
Michelle's Savage Garden Site
http://members.aol.com/DarrenGrl/savage.html
I really like this site one, because it is very easy to read, and two,
because
there is A LOT of good and useful info. You can find lyrics,
a great
biography, lots of pictures, GREAT audio/video stuff, and over 60 other
Savage
Garden links. It's really an awesome site!! Check it out!!
**Tomorrow, November 10, the album should be re-released in Australia
with a
bonus CD containing remixes of songs on the album. This should
be a very good
purchase for fans looking to increase their collection. The album
is rumored
to being called "The Future Of Earthly Delites". Now, if only
American fans
could buy it without so much shipping/handling!! Hehe!
**There were a couple comments this week...
============================================================
About the operator in "Santa Monica"... The operator is saying, "Thanks
you
for calling Disneyland."

(This was the actual review given by Tower Records...)
"Big, expansive Euro-pop, Australian style. Stylistically, this duo
is coming
straight out of the '80s with a vengeance. Savage Garden look to Duran
Duran
and Big Country for influences. Guitars are used for texture, not as
instruments of angst or anger. But the Prince-style strings and piano
at the
end of "To the Moon and Back" show a willingness to experiment within
the
somewhat narrow confines of their chosen sound. The feel is electronic,
but
not inhuman. "I Want You" sounds a lot like Roxette, with its rapid-fire,
hip-
hoppy vocal affectations, but then "Truly Madly Deeply" comes along,
a ballad
replete with open-chord guitar sweeps and gospel-inflected keyboards.
There's
even a nice classical guitar solo at at the end to round things out.
If you
like modern dance music, but with a semblance of melody and some pleasant
instrumental concepts, you just might want to enter this conventionally
pretty, not-so-Savage Garden."

P.S. Pleeeease if anyone is gonna delete, or change their screen
name. Or if
you just don't wanna get the newsletter anymore, pleeease tell me!!!
Cuz it's
kinda a pain if you go to send it to a big list of people, and then
there's
this ONE person whose name doesn't exist anymore :-) hehe Well,
THANX!
