Hey!!  So this now makes a full week of me being prez!!  Things are going
pretty good!!  Thanx to all of you who wished me luck doing this!!  Here's
this week's newsletter...It's a long one, so get ready!!  :-)

**Last week's survey was to name your fave SG song and explain what the lyrics
meant to you or what you thought Darren and Daniel were trying to say... I got
sooo many responses!!  I think it's great!  Here's what people have to say...

"Break Me Shake Me"  is my favorite song but I totaly love that others, anyway
this songs means alot to me cuz I had a 18 year old boyfriend when I was 14
and he treated me exactly the way Darren sings.  When I hear it is makes me
feel happy because I left him for all those reasons and I will never regret
it!

1) Its about a teenage girl who needs to get away from her problems...

I love the song, "Truly Madly Deeply".  I think it is one of the prettiest,
most romantic songs I've ever heard.  It makes me think alot about Darren and
how special "true love" is.  Man, if any guy ever sang this to me, I'd melt
like ice cream on a hot sidewalk.  Plop, there goes Andrea, onto the floor.

My favorite song is I Want You because it was the first hit and I still like
the song as much as I did the 1st time I heard it! I think the song has to do
with feelings, dreams, and love! It's a cool song!!!!!

I think Truly Madly Deeply is the best song on the CD. To me, the lyrics are
about a person's deep passion for their lover. I write songs about these kinds
of things too, but this is one of the most remarkable songs I've ever listened
too.

My favorite Savage Garden song is Truly, Madly, Deeply.
I think that it is, Like, from a guy who is trying to tell his girl how much
he cares for her. Before I moved, My (X) boyfriend had that song dedicated to
me at the prom...he was a junior and Invited me to go. He told me that no
matter where we went, what we did, or who we were with this is how he would
always feel about me....Loving me Truly, Madly,Deeply....and he said this in
front of everybody that was at that dance! That is why that song is special to
me!

My favorite songs are Break Me Shake Me and Carry on Dancing.  I like Break
Me, shake Me, because it shows how when you fight, you ultimately end up alone
and depressed.  It shows that it never ends up helping.  I like Carry On
Dancing because it puts me in a very intense, yet relaxed mood that only
people who've heard it know.

  I think the words are about a girl who never got much attention...  she
didn't know if anyone really cared about her...  If anyone ever loved her.
And eventually she got tired of it...  she went off on her own...  and waited

i believe that my personal favorite is To the Moon and Back, because it's
about (or at least how i interpret it) a woman that shies away from human love
because she is uncertain of who she can truely share her soul with.  something
like that anyway.....
it also has deeper meanings and references to hopes and dreams, and
disappointment. i can identify with this song the most oout of the whole
album, although Tears of Pearls is my very very very very close second
favorite.

I think that darren and daniel are talking about being on an online sevice.
They are how if you talk to someone online they might not be who they say they
are. And they are saying that you can't prove if they are that they say or
not.

What they mean to me :  To me the lyrics mean exactly what they say , that
when ever you don't think you can't go on , when you think that you will never
acomplish your dreams , There is someone there to keep ya goin(I don't have
someone like that but most people do )

was written by Darren but I think they both had part in it.  And I have a
comment for Blusilver2...

Blusilver2-- What the hell are you talking about!?  Umm...Sorry to burst your
bubble but there is no Darren S. Hayes.  There is however a S. Darren Hayes.
Thought you might like to know that.  And why would there be two Darrens in
SG?  One on the album and one who lip-sings at concerts?  I really don't think
so... Sorry mate but I'm not buying this.

**Ok, with some of these comments, I don't want to start a big fight, so lets
just leave it how it is...the thing with Darren S. Hayes and Darren V. Hayes
was just a rumor going around and now hopefully everyone knows that its false.
And with the writing of All Around Me, it was just a misunderstanding and we
now know that both Darren and Daniel write the songs...but it also could be
true that Daniel would like to dedicate that song to Meg Ryan...I really don't
know though...

**This is a very important question!!!  Lots (and when I say lots, I mean
LOTS) of people are wondering about the concert dates!!!  If anyone has ANY
information on them at all, PLEASE tell me and I will definately put it in the
next newsletter!!  Thanx!!

**I got a very intersting comment from Balletrai.  This is what she said...

"I've been going into SG chat rooms, and they r completly empty!  The club
members should schedule a date & time for everyone interested to come into one
of the Savage Garden chat rooms & talk with other fans."

I totally agree with her...So, in order to fix this problem of ours, I've
decided to hold a game in  <A HREF="aol://2719:61-2-Savage%20Garden%20Chat">
Town Square - Savage Garden Chat</A> sometime this or next week.  If anyone
would like to host this game, please e-mail me and I will send it to you.
(The first person to mail me will be the person to host.)  Once you get the
game, just tell me the date and time and I will announce it to the rest of the
club a couple days in advance.  Thanx!!

**Sorry, I couldn't get the chart positions for this week yet, but I will send
out the update and include it in there...

**I guess that's it for this weeks newsletter.  And thanx to EVERYONE (and
